Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Summer by the Sea. Summer has been good and hot around here. Equal parts long lazy days and high-gear rushing around. We had the joy of spending the week of the 4th at my sister and brother-in-law's place at Santa Rosa Beach. We got too much sun and ate lots of fish tacos. First Day of School. We started our 2015-2016 school year today! I know July 13th is early but I wanted our first semester to be completed by Charlotte Emma's due date. Friday, August 23, 2013. Simple, Pretty Skirt. My friend, Sarah, texted me a few weeks ago asking if I sew. I suppose all the sewing projects I've pinned gave her the wrong idea. Hmmm. So I told her no. No I do not. Apparently this did not matter as I found myself a week later at her house, yard of fabric in hand. Our attempt was somewhat comical, but we made a little progress.
