The Freudenthal Family's Adoption Journey
Born in our Heart: A Hump Day Post!
http://freudenthaladoption.blogspot.com/2014/01/a-hump-day-post.html
Wednesday, January 15, 2014. A Hump Day Post! Oh goodness the Freudenthal's have been busy. Back to school we went after Christmas break. We got an extra day because it was so cold. It has been nice getting back into a normal routine. Although we get out early tomorrow and don't go back until Tuesday. Didn't we just have Christmas break? Big things have been going on around here. Little Ade decided he wanted a haircut. And he wanted it cut "all the way down! Big day for her as well. We have also been try...

I like to say he is the 2nd boy who truly stole my heart! One look into those huge almond shaped hazel eyes and I was taken! He is such a sweet boy. I wanted a boy so bad and was so happy to finally get my boy. He is such a blessing to us! Here are some random things about Max:. He is really good at doing flips! She is...

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. A Heavy Heart for Sweet Lucy and Her Family. Today my heart is heavy. I have been following a blog for over a year now about a sweet little girl named Lucy who is Maya's age who has been battling cancer. Her previous scans showed the cancer was gone and then in the past few days Lucy has gotten sick and they found out that her cancer is back and there is nothing they can do. They don't have long with sweet little Lucy. Hug your kids tight and be thankful that they are healthy!
Born in our Heart: Raising Kids Requires a Lot of Prayer!
http://freudenthaladoption.blogspot.com/2014/02/raising-kids-requires-lot-of-prayer.html
Friday, February 21, 2014. Raising Kids Requires a Lot of Prayer! As our kids are getting are getting older it is getting harder! I am experiencing all the things parents warned me about your kids getting older. I really thought it would never happen to me. But this growing up thing is creating a huge pit in my stomach. I remember when they were all little and thinking it was so hard and thinking I couldn't wait for them to be older and it would be so much easier. WRONG! February 25, 2014 at 6:05 PM.
Born in our Heart: March 2012

Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Sort of Feeling Normal Again. That took a long time to put back on. And I started going through summer clothes. My kids have seriously almost outgrown everything. The only one who can still wear most of their stuff is Max! He is so little. But that will be good on my checkbook. During my bible study today I was wondering why I feel the need to shop? It doesn't matter what I have. I am asking the Lord to help me to stop the shop! Also, why do I care so much about my weight?

I think she looks totally different! Night and day, people, Night-And-Day! But now I am finding that she is making the effort.it doesn't usually sound anything like the English words, bu...

Our Mosaic: Merry Christmas!
http://bromosaic.blogspot.com/2014/12/merry-christmas.html
Thursday, December 25, 2014. This year I underestimated how many Christmas cards we would need, so many, including some family and church family, did not get any! Oops So, here's a copy of our card and Christmas letter. :). As you can see from our Christmas card, our family of four is all together! The second biggest highlight of the year was in mid-September: we spent a week in Hawaii! B is doing amazingly. He adores his big brother, thinks our dogs are super fun, loves any sport and the trampoline,...

http://wheremyheartis-melissa.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Where my Heart is. Sunday, June 12, 2011. A Evening with the Symphony! He made a fan, which was really nice for mommy because it was hot outside. I have no idea what we were talking about. but it looks like why do I have to put my shoes back on, when in reality he continued running around minus the shoes for the rest of the night. And we ended the night on the playground, well the men ended their night on the playground, I was still listening to the symphony play beautiful music. View my complete profile.

Where my Heart is. Thursday, August 18, 2011. And we're off . August 18, 2010. And Ali and Joe. We got to speak with each other. I remember Ali being so excited and full of life. And that pretty much fits her to a tee. Then from Dulles to Rome (for a 45 minute fueling of the plane) to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. That was an incredibly long flight. I lost it. Tears, ugly cry. Our Mosaic: Intermission/Explanation to Start the New Year
http://bromosaic.blogspot.com/2015/01/intermissionexplanation-to-start-new.html
Friday, January 2, 2015. Intermission/Explanation to Start the New Year. We're not done having kids. Yes, there is. Going to be a next time. Our desire has always been for three to five kids, preferably four, and maybe. Six (Seven is right out. Probably. I want a daughter. And if we have one girl we're going to have to have another because a girl needs a sister - especially if she'd otherwise be outnumbered by boys. (#experience). We're just taking a break. A nice long intermission, if you will. I could ...

So, during the months before we left for Ethiopia to get Desi, I spent a lot of time thinking about her hair. .did a little research, but mostly just felt like I was going to be totally inadequate with her hair! I suppose I'm the reason she got that way.I digress. One one hand."whoa! They shaved her head! Was that really necessary? So we started from scratch.
