On January 1, 2008, Moose, a seven-year old male Rottweiler mix, rescued at 6 months, was euthanized at the Texas A and M Small Animal Clinic in College Station, Texas. As I drove home from College Station on New Year's Day, I wondered what I could do to help. Many advanced procedures, treatments and medications available today did not exist a few years ago. What happens to the animals whose owners don't have the money to pay for emergency consultation? Moose touched many lives during his seven years....
