The History of Norton Common. How to Find Us. How to find us. Norton Common is just a short walk from Letchworth Garden City railway station. Rail services from London Kings Cross, Kings Lynn and Cambridge. Junction 9 and 10 on the A! M along with the A505 and A507 are the main routes into Letchworth Garden City. Parking is available at the Swimming pool and Bowl Pavilion off Icknield Way.

They are not a difference species – they are just grey squirrels with a lot more black pigment or 'melanin' in their pelage (fur). They are called "melanic grey squirrels".
