An organisation that runs children’s homes for 200 orphans and vulnerable children, mainly street children. After many years of factory work, they saved enough to buy a farm in the Westfield section of Middletown that became Susan’s childhood home. On a beautiful Indian Summer morning on October 6, 2007, Susan Barron was walking her dog to the Blessing of the Animals service at a local church in the Murray Hill area of Manhattan when a random act of unthinkable violence changed her life forever. The attack on her was so brutal that it was called in to the New York City Police Department as a homicide. It is miraculous that she survived.
