Provincial Park management and staff to enhance educational, recreational, eco-systems and interpretive. Programs and to assist in the maintenance and securing of facilities in the Park. Welcome to the website of The Friends of Walkers Heath Park - a group of local individuals who come together to make Walkers Heath Park a better resource for the community. 2014 was a great year for us because we FINALLY got a Children's Play Area. After 3 years of hard work. We are still doing Active Parks. And we plan to launch our 2015 programme and do the GRAND OPENING. Of the play area at our EASTER FESTIVAL EGGSTRAVAGANZA. Walkers Heath Park is an Active Park.
