Sunday, July 31, 2016. Fun, Fun, Fun. The high society booth. After getting a spot on the Hurricane Chain in St. John at 10 AM we headed to Magan’s Bay for the King of Wings contest and arrived at noon just after it started. It had about 40 contestants so there were wings abounding. Again we bought tickets at $1 per wing and started tasting! The day was gray and cool and it affected the crowd as they were more subdued than last year. They loved their wings. Captain VI was there. It was a good sized crowd.

Wednesday, March 30, 2016. The new Lagoon II kayak. We left the BVIs and went to St. John, St Francis Bay to relax, snorkel, kayak, and swim. Oceanwings traveled with us and we had fun, but realized out kayak was a bit tippy and slower than Oceanwing’s kayak, so we tried theirs. Friday, August 28, 2015. During the hurricane season it seems the Virgin Islands release the tension on devastating hurricanes by having parties. The two most recent were a Full Moon Party at Dinghies on Water Island, and the Chili Off at Brewers Beach. We prepare for the party. The Full moon party at Dinghies had a pirate theme to it and Leslie and I tried to get right into the swing of things! Leslie out did herself by adding a parrot to my costume.
