From the Kiln is a new popup shop in Maidenhead, you can find us in the Nicholson's Centre opposite the Starbucks. We will be exhibiting and selling ceramics made by ten local potters. We are pleased to announce that the shop will be open from Wednesday 4 June 2014 until Sunday 27 July 2014. Studio in a shop'. Some of our potters will be working in a designating studio area at the back of the shop, come and see how the pots start out on their life as clay and watch them develop into beautiful objects.

A journey into clay. This year at SOCA we have had the great fortune of working with Neville French,. Who invited us to find local clays to include in our work. I put the word out to a group of artists I have been working with in the Kinglake area on a project “INTO THE LIGHT”. A bush fire recovery project post 2009 fires. I love the resonance my community work has with my personal work, the connections and threads entwine. It is an honour to include clay from Lees property into this new clay journey.
