2 tbsp olive oil. 12 kilos onions (red or brown, I used red), thinly sliced. Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. 3 cloves garlic, crushed. 2 tbsp caster sugar. 15 litres beef, chicken or vegetable stock (beef will give you the richest result). 1-2 tsp balsamic vinegar. 8 slices thick white bread. 1 1/4 cups grated edam cheese. 1 1/4 cups grated gruyere cheese. 1/4 cup good quality egg mayonnaise. 2 tsp dijon mustard. 16 slices ham or pastrami. Friday Night Pizza on a Sunday. Hi all - long time, no recipes! In other news my pterygium operation on my eye went really well - I won't go into all the gory details, but the skin graft where it was removed is healing brilliantly (I think, no doubt the surgeon will let me know what he thinks at my post-op check up tomorrow! Anyhoo, make these pizzas and I promise you won't be sorry :). 3 pizza good quality bought thin. Pizza bases, or use my recipe here. 6 tablespoons tomato paste. 1 cup grated Parmesan.

Sonntag, 9. August 2015. Diese Woche gab es bei mir Kokospavlovas mit säuerlichem Brombeerkompott. Wenn ihr mich fragt, eine geradezu himmlische Kombination. Wer allerdings nichts von den kleinen leckeren Raffaello-Kugeln hält, der sollte die Kokosflocken lieber weglassen. Denn die Pavlovas wähnen einen in der fernen Südsee, wo einem Kokosnüsse mit Strohhalmen und bunte Obstteller gereicht werden. Ich persönlich greife gerade im Sommer immer wieder gerne zu Kokoseis und mag daran vor allem die Konsistenz.

From the Kiln is a new popup shop in Maidenhead, you can find us in the Nicholson's Centre opposite the Starbucks. We will be exhibiting and selling ceramics made by ten local potters. We are pleased to announce that the shop will be open from Wednesday 4 June 2014 until Sunday 27 July 2014. Studio in a shop'. Some of our potters will be working in a designating studio area at the back of the shop, come and see how the pots start out on their life as clay and watch them develop into beautiful objects.

A journey into clay. This year at SOCA we have had the great fortune of working with Neville French,. Who invited us to find local clays to include in our work. I put the word out to a group of artists I have been working with in the Kinglake area on a project “INTO THE LIGHT”. A bush fire recovery project post 2009 fires. I love the resonance my community work has with my personal work, the connections and threads entwine. It is an honour to include clay from Lees property into this new clay journey.
