Monday, September 26, 2011. In August, The Hubs and I participated with friends in Minneapolis' first Gorilla Challenge. It's an urban scavenger hunt that led us all through downtown Minneapolis on a wild goose chase! We were given 12 clues, and had to correctly answer 10, in 3 hours, in any order. Needless to say, we did not win, but we sure had fun! Clue #3: Activity Site: Run to this green location in the historic Mills District, run up the spiral walkway, find the Gorilla Staffer and complete the act...

Monday, November 28, 2011. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I think I like it for the food first and second for the fact that everybody is there for the same reason: the food. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Makin' Magic Outta Canned Goods - 8. Blogging in the New Year has not been my resolution, but I promise a photo update soon! This week's plan is:. Chicken Breasts with Au Gratin Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli. I used the Penzey's Bicentennial spice rub on the chicken, and just cooked them up in a skillet. It was a pretty tasty spice rub! The au gratin potatoes were from scratch, but a box mix would do the trick! The recipe I used was from the America's Test Kitchen cookbook.

For looking at pictures of the "Minimally Invasive" surgery (that means they make a smaller incision, but stretch the hell out of your skin and muscles) I may wish I WAS in Birmingham. Because I didn't want the "Red Solo Cup" song running in my head all week, I bought the blue ones. The checkout lady said she sees more blue ones come through the line now than ever. It's time to stop grinding glass when you use three fingers to guide the glass pieces and all three are bleeding. But look at what I made- these will eventually be included in one of Pop's "forever flowers". I think they are so cuter. Ohmygoodness those are bee-you-tee-full! I am so impressed with the things you make- you do such beautiful work! Are you grinding each petal individually? It could save your fingers!
