http://julie-lifeinalaska.blogspot.com/2012/08/alaska-still-amazes-me.html
Friday, August 17, 2012. Alaska Still Amazes Me! We been in Alaska for almost two years now, and I am still amazed at the beauty of this place. God is so creative! It was a beautiful day, so after dinner we decided to take advantage of it. We went to the beach here in Anchorage. It is a little hike to get to the beach. Luke carried Jackson in the hiking pack and I carried Brady in the Moby. The boys did great! Here are some pictures:. You could see some silvers (salmon) running through right here. Most i...

Sunday, June 24, 2012. More Family Came to Visit. My sister and my niece came to visit and meet Brady. It was great having them here. This was Melanie's first time in Alaska. I think she liked it. I know she liked the break from the hot weather they are having in Oklahoma. Jackson LOVED my niece. She is getting so big! Mollee helping Jackson play at Bouncing Bears. She was able to have some fun too! Playing on the cool bouncing pillow. Holding Brady - she was great with Brady! A beautiful day in Anchorage.

Life in Alaska: Lessons Learned in Maui
http://julie-lifeinalaska.blogspot.com/2013/03/lessons-learned-in-maui.html
Saturday, March 9, 2013. Lessons Learned in Maui. We recently got back from a wonderful vacation in Maui! It was a great, relaxing week. Luke and I didn't realize how much we missed wearing shorts (capris for me) and flip flops. I guess to sum it up quickly, we miss the heat! I have two challenges for everyone that reads this post. First, truly think about where you value your possessions. Second, make it a habit to pray for those you don't want to pray for! Another post with pictures will come soon.).

Monday, January 28, 2013. It's been awhile since I have update the blog. Apparently, when you have two kids you are twice as busy! I love all my boys more than anything. God is so good when he blessed me with Luke, Jackson, Brady, and Bruiser (of course). Brady is now eight months old, which in itself is crazy! Do you notice I haven't mentioned snow at all? Here are a few pictures of the boys with their cousins from Christmas:. January 30, 2013 at 6:19 PM. Its hard to believe your boys are so big! Almost...

Life in Alaska: September 2012
http://julie-lifeinalaska.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 13, 2012. Last weekend Jackson turned two. It's hard to believe he is already two years old. That also means that we have been in Alaska for just about two years, which is also crazy to think about. I love his curly hair and big blue eyes, but most of all I love his sweet heart. God has truly blessed Luke and I with our boys. Here are some more pictures from Jackson's birthday party. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). PW FULL RSS FEED. Three Headlines with Ryan Nelson. Life in Alaska: A Visit from Nana and Grandaddy
http://julie-lifeinalaska.blogspot.com/2012/06/visit-from-nana-and-grandaddy.html
Sunday, June 24, 2012. A Visit from Nana and Grandaddy. My mom and dad came to visit after Brady was born. My mom was here for a month, which was wonderful! She was so helpful to us. After having a c-section, you are not supposed to lift more than 15 pounds for 6 weeks. This is really hard to do when you have a toddler who weighs 28 pounds. My mom came and took care of Jackson and all of us really! Two of their grandkids. Nana holding Brady. She spent many hours doing this while she was here. Picture Win...

Life in Alaska: February 2012
http://julie-lifeinalaska.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 12, 2012. We were finally able to take Jackson sledding. It was beautiful outside, so we took advantage of it! It's amazing how warm 30 degrees feels after you have endured a whole month of 0 degrees or below. Luke and I were excited that Jackson seemed to love sledding. He would giggle the whole way down the hill. This gives us hope that he will like skiing in the future! I think we might try to take him skiing next winter. Alright Daddy, I'm ready! Let's do it again! Ready, set, go!
