Arlene's Genealogy Blog: June 2010
https://arlenesgenealogyblog.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Jun 15, 2010. My elusive Great-grandmother Emeline. During the time I was searching for information a cousin sent me an e-mail. She told me she had seen the death record in Salisbury, but didn't say anymore about what was in the record. In another e-mail, she thought Emeline's father was named Jacob but didn't say where that information came from. Soon after, I heard that she had passed away. Yesterday, I visited the Town Hall in Salisbury to view her death record. I wanted to see if her parents name...

The drive was uneventful, other than some rain. The wiper blades have seen one too many Arizona summers; I need to remember to replace them when I get home. 2 thoughts on “Safely arrived”. Alfa Foxtrot Seven Kilo Quebec. Get a realtime subscription to this blog via e-mail using Blogtrottr. Panorama of the Arena at Nîmes. I got a new phone a couple weeks ago. Although the phone itself doesn’t work in France, the wifi works fine, and so does the camera. I tried a panoramic shot for the first time today in Nîmes, standing near the Arena. 2 thoughts on “Panorama of the Arena at Nîmes”. Not bad for a cheap phone! Palace of the Popes. Arlene's Genealogy Blog: April 2011
https://arlenesgenealogyblog.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Apr 28, 2011. About 3 years ago, I received this entry in my website guest book from Matt at Great Newsome Brewery. Great Newsome is the name of our farm in South Frodingham and our neighbours live at Frodingham Hall once the home of the Frothingham family.". At that time, we were planning a trip to France and Italy, so I wrote back and asked if the ale would be available in Paris. Unfortunately, it was not! We are going on a road trip, or rather a very long plane trip! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Arlene's Genealogy Blog: March 2009
https://arlenesgenealogyblog.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Mar 30, 2009. Finding family on Facebook. This post is not technically about genealogy. However, I've been using Facebook for a couple months now, and I've been able to connect with a lot of family members who I haven't seen in years. It's also put me in touch with some high school friends, and friends of friends. There is even a group called "Frothingham, It's not that hard to spell, just sound it out.". It's easy and fun. Best of all, it's free. Mar 9, 2009. Update to Frothingham.us. A Very Grave Matter.

Arlene's Genealogy Blog: Gagnon-Poulin Connection
https://arlenesgenealogyblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/gagnon-poulin-connection.html
Sep 29, 2011. I know that Aurore (Poulin) Gilman's mother was Mary Gagnon. I'm trying to make the connection to the Gagnons that I knew when I was growing up in Salisbury MA. I think possibly Mary Gagnon and Louis Gagnon, whose wife was Rosanna, may be brother and sister but the final piece is eluding me. Can anyone help? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
