5th Irvine company is. In Irvine, Ayrshire which is situated in South West Scotland. The company first enrolled boys in 1957 under the leadership of Angus McPherson and has continued to meet since. It was given official status in 1959. The Rev P G Thomson was appointed the first captain in January 1960. He was succeeded in June 1960 by Mr John Irvine. All sections take part in a wide variety of activities, as can be seen on the galleries pages. A number of the activities are organised by.
