Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Well the Indy gathering has come and gone. It was great to see many of the people I have met at our other gatherings as well as some new people making their first gathering. We even got our name on the hotel welcome sign in the lobby. The first night was just a small gathering, and we played a single table sit-n-go. Mrs. Sly was the big winner of our little five dollar game. Had we only known that she would pwn the whole weekend. Thursday, June 12, 2008. Absence makes the blog. Been away. (sfobv) Took some time off from on-line poker after cashing out before the whole netteller fiasco. I have taken 3 checks since my return though, so things are looking good. Counting down the days until our next Vegas trip! Hope to get back on here soon. Posted by REV777 at 3:27 PM. Monday, September 18, 2006. Tourney or Cash Game? Our regular home game tournament had 14 players Friday night. I managed to bubble out when my AK caught a K on the flop, only to run into runner, runner flush from the crazy new guy that was playing. He seemed to hit every %&! Ha ha We did take some of our money and buy us all sleeping bags, and some other camping accessories, so we can take the kids camping. That's all for now. Good luck at the tables! Huckleberry Poker: March 2006
http://huckleberrypoker.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Okay, well I got some responses to my post about maniac play which is really cool. In response to those posts, I wanted to talk a little bit about hand selection. Since I started experimenting with maniac play, I've gotten a lot of grief from players I've beaten with jackpot hands; "How could you play 23 suited to a raise? Play a wide range of hands, it will open up to you many profitable opprotunities that your opponents don't even know how to take advantage of. HOLE CARDS * *.

Sunday, January 29, 2006. The Professor, the Banker, and the Candlestick Maker. While travelling around the globe last week, I read The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King. Tptbatsk). It was an incredibly good book. I found it easy to read and I had a hard time putting it down. I think I must have read it in only 2 days (while waiting in airports, flying on planes, riding on trains, etc.). I read some other books too, but this is the only one I finished. Michael Craig has several poker articles.

Tuesday, January 24, 2006. Alright, I was feeling good, in a real good mood to play some poker, so I decided to play a little 5/10 fixed. a few hours later, I'm stuck $200. I really don't know what to say. I mean, was this outside my limits? Yeah it was. Was it a conscious decision? Definitely. Did I play well? Posted by Huck @ 3:37 AM. Sunday, January 22, 2006.
