The Quoddy Loopers: June 2014
http://quoddyloopers.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. Sandra Lewis' halloween rug. Finished May 21, 2014. It’s called Hallowe’en and the designer is Bonnie Nelson. Measures 20 ½” X 24. I have admired this cheerful little guy all the while Sandra was working on him and I am happy to see him finished and ready to hang around. Sandra dyes her own blues for her rugs and they make whatever she is working on stand out. Great job, Sandra. Links to this post. Sunday, June 29, 2014. New Brunswick Covered Bridge Project. The Quoddy Loopers: scrappy mats X 2
http://quoddyloopers.blogspot.com/2014/07/scrappy-mats-x-2.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Scrappy mats X 2. At tonight's hooking in St. Andrews there was 3. Sandra, Susan and me. Susan was finishing up a chair pad that was a nice combination of colours. Golds, I'd say. We thought about whether when you finished it was when you finished hooking or when it was completed. I guess either one works. Next time I will take a camera. The Quoddy Loopers: Another Rainy Wednesday
http://quoddyloopers.blogspot.com/2014/07/another-rainy-wednesday.html
Thursday, July 17, 2014. It seems that for months and months Wednesday nights have been bad for driving. Tonight was no exception with rain at times heavy and fog. I noticed a Mama Turkey with several babies on the way to St. Andrews last Sunday evening. She was one big Mama. I would hate to run into her on the road. And he raised his hand. I had to laugh at that. I can't sleep tonight because I started to think just as soon as I got into bed. I started to read and I found a slip of paper in the book...

The Quoddy Loopers: May 2011
http://quoddyloopers.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 22, 2011. Louise's rendition of Deanne Fitzpatrick's little portraits of women. Louise is hooked on Deanne Fitzpatrick's free style of hooking and has done several of her mat designs. These two are her women, as Deanne says, reminiscent of her family and neighbours from Newfoundland (and Labrador). On the left, Hortense and on the right, unfortunately, I don't have a name for her. Both are very expressive, with some details merely suggested. The viewer supplies the rest. Links to this post.
