And Sophia got to dance to "Once There Was a Snowman". The girls did AWESOME! Boston and New York City November 22-30. We drove into Manhattan, checked into our hotel, and went right out to...

Fussy Cuts: Kate's Early Birthday November 20

http://fussycuts.blogspot.com/2010/12/kates-early-birthday-november-20.html

Friday, December 3, 2010. Kate's Early Birthday November 20. Kate enjoyed an early birthday this year, since we were planning on traveling over the Thanksgiving week. She started the day off right with Dutch Babies. She had a few friends over to decorate cupcakes. She is a decorating queen! Our lives would be much more dull without her! Fussy Cuts: October 2010

http://fussycuts.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 31, 2010. Halloween at the Votaws. A princess, a princess, and an army chick. I love my girls! Dave and I ventured into the bounty hunter's world. I think Beth was WAY more excited about these costumes than even Dave was (and he was excited- really! My good friends dressed completely wholesome. You'd think I'd get with the program. Happy Halloween from the Votaws! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Halloween at the Votaws.

Fussy Cuts: April 2010

http://fussycuts.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Gila Valley Temple Open House. The final bonus is that since we booked our tickets to Boston in November to visit Lynz, I'm thinking we might be able to really do the Macy's Day Parade. We're just building stamina here, people. :). Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Busy Busy - We're not even in May! So we've been plenty busy around here. Our neighbors has a garage sale and the girls decided to sell my hard earned sugar cookies. Here's Kate and her friend Edynne at the zoo. Preschool...

Fussy Cuts: August 2009

http://fussycuts.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 22, 2009. Lava Tubes in Flag. In hopes of coping with my insane week, I gladly took Dave's invitation to bring the girls up for his last day in Flag. We swam in the pool, watched cartoons on the hotel TV, and ate at Outback. What more could you ask for? Well, the two mile two hour hike in the 30* lava tubes didn't hurt either. Beth is asking if we can come back tomorrow. Next time she gets to carry Sophia. Dave leaves. All heck breaks loose. First Day of school. The dust has finally sett...

Serendipitous Lucidity: Mormonism

http://serendipitouslucidity.blogspot.com/2013/08/mormonism.html

Sometimes life is like the edge of a canyon with only one way down. Sometimes it's like jumping from the bow just to prove that you know how. And sometimes, it's moments of serendipitous lucidity. And those moments, they usually come when you just let the chips. fall where they may. Wednesday, August 28, 2013. So my students don't know I'm LDS (Mormon). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And helped me shop for my darling furniture, and took me out to celebrate the graduation ceremony that I missed to come take this job, and listened to General Conference.

Pasko Life: October 2008

http://paskolife.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Congrats to my cousins, Lynzie and Danny. Whose beautiful baby girl was born last week! Her birthmom was awesome and we feel blessed to have another happy adoption story in our family. Caramel Apple Cupcakes and a Poop Story. I made these cool cupcakes from the cupcake blog. But I ate a lot of the delish caramel while I was frosting them (probably not such a good idea the day before I had to take my glucose test at the doctor's office. gestational diabetes here I come.). Anyway, the festival was great fo...

Pasko Life: Easter at the Cabin

http://paskolife.blogspot.com/2012/04/easter-at-cabin.html

Easter at the Cabin. For Easter this year, my cousins invited us to spend the weekend up at the Greer Cabin (my Uncle and Aunt's cabin in Pinetop) with them. It was a great weekend! The rest of the weekend was spent coloring Easter eggs, having a fun Easter egg hunt, building forts, riding bikes, playing outside, watching movies with the cousins, hiking and caterpillar hunting. More Utah Trip Pics. To answer the many emails I have gotten in response to my last post (sorry, I will respond to each of your emails eventually, but for now.), here are the details:. I am 15 weeks. Pregnant. Yep, me. Pregnant with a real, live baby. Crazy, huh? Excited about having another baby. We find out in two weeks (Aug 6) if we are having a boy or a girl. Kyle and I both think it's a girl, so it will probably be a boy. Thats about it. Thanks everyone for being so excited for us! Kyle and I recent...

Pasko Life: The Farm

http://paskolife.blogspot.com/2011/11/farm.html

Gage's awesome preschool teacher took his class to Vertuccio Farm for their field trip in October. They had so many fun things to do that Gage had a great time despite his total disinterest in animals of any variety. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Pasko Life: February 2008

http://paskolife.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

Last weekend Kyle talked me into a trip to the sand dunes. Kyle was complaining about his chapped lips while we sat around the fire so I offered him my lip gloss. After a momentary hesitation at the girlyness of lipgloss, he put it on. It looks so pretty! Gage spent the majority of our trip pushing his John Deere Tractor. Around the campsite and riding the rhino with his buddy, Anden. Kyle and Andrew played too hard and couldn't make it to bed before falling asleep. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Pasko Life: March 2009

http://paskolife.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Today was a miraculous day! I was able to get both of my boys to smile for a photo. And here are a couple more pics of my ever growing and ever changing little Brigg. The things I teach my 2 year old. Doesn't he look just like his dad with these glasses on? We had the family over for cake and ice cream to celebrate Gage' s birthday again. The kids had fun playing with Gage's birthday presents and I was thrilled to get some adult interaction. :). Thanks Anden for the cool lawnmower!

Pasko Life: September 2008

http://paskolife.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Guess Who is Further Along. Thanks Brock for making me feel a little better about my ever expanding waistline. :). Check out what my son insisted on using as his "fork" for dinner tonight. Yes, I know tongs are not acceptable cutlery for the refined individual that I am attempting to create; however, there are days when I will let Gage use whatever means he finds necessary if he will just eat what I make for dinner instead of crying for a banana. We determined that the lead singer for Maroon 5 is undoubt...

Fussy Cut

Friday, January 3, 2014. Finally sewing with Chicopee. I had one more quilt finish in 2013. This might be my favorite of the year! Chicopee by Denyse Schmidt, black yarn dyed Essex, and the Arkansas Crossroad block work together so nicely don't they? I had the hardest time deciding on the right pattern, but I think I found it. Here are a couple pictures I took a couple weeks ago after quilting, I will try to get some finished ones soon! Hope you had a joyous Christmas and wonderful start to the New Year!

Monday, August 3, 2015. Great article. " Unless you are ghosting to escape an abusive relationship in which you are fearing for your safety, ghosting is an act of cowardice.". Thursday, August 8, 2013. Yeah, it's been a WHILE. Lost my quilting mojo for the last 12 months to an unforeseen DIVORCE. Life took a huge crap on me, but I've finally learned how to pull myself up and get on with it. I AM starting to get my creative mind back in gear. Here are a few photos from the last time i was able to sew-.

Friday, November 25, 2016. Michael Hampton at Nido's photo by Phiona Hamilton. I haven't posted here for so long. To be quite honest, I became frustrated with how hard it was to move things around on my posts. So I looked for greener grass and alas, the grass was brown! So I am back! And I want to talk about the renewed passion I have for spinning! I went to see my friend, Michael Hampton Speak at Nido's. I ordered a new wheel! It is an Ashford Joy and it looks like this. I will post a photo when mine ar...

Tales of the Meandering Stitcher. Monday, April 6, 2015. So I figure a year later its still there.its not going anywhere. I used all outdoor and home dec fabric from my fabric stash so this project didn't cost me any money! For the pillows instead of purchasing outdoor inserts I used very little filling and actually filled them mostly with shopping bags! I enjoyed my afternoon outside reading a book on this lovely 72 degree day! Raise Hell and Change the World! Anyways. My cross stitch is now finished...
