Mar 23, 2011. Los Rojos de Ultramar- A Review. The Reds of the Sea". This is the translation of the title as i would put it. It has a simple meaning. The book proved to be a interesting read, with much information on the post-civil war Spanish life. Not of those left in Spain. But of those that had to leave, who were on the loosing side of the war. The book is a bit repetitive in parts. Though this repetitiveness should not dissuade anyone from reading the book,. And that is what this book caused in me.

Mar 7, 2012. Now that i am officially buying a house. I need to start blogging a lot more. Im hoping to post many pictures of what changes i make to my little humble home. its not very big, but its big enough for me. :). So many exciting new things going on in the Calderon family. I hope this year proves to be a bit better than the last couple. First of all, Ramona is here! Cant wait to watch her grow up. and hopefully give her some cousins to play with some day. :). Sunday, June 3, 2012. Silence, solitude, boredom. Timmy just left with the youth group on a service trip to Joplin, MO. This is one of the first big trips that i haven't gone on with the youth group. im kinda bummed. Joplin has been so important to me, and im thankful that our students are having the opportunity to go spend some time there helping with the recovery effort. Im gonna miss my sweet husband try to make the most of my week alone, bacheloretting it up. Maybe i'll even get a thoughtful blog out.

I think too much. in the name of relaxation, sleep, showing love to people and not driving my husband crazy, im attempting to stop thinking so much (at least for a little while.). Monday, September 20, 2010. So, at zoe institute, we get to have free haircuts whenever, and one free color. so for my first color i requested ombre. i wouldn't have probably ever known what ombre was if it weren't for my dear friend taylor who put it up on her blog (see the "taylor does my hair" link on the side over there). Anyway, taylor even sent me instructions for exactly how to get it and so i finally convinced some classmates to do it for me today and i LOVE it! I've NEVER colored my hair before!

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Or dont. whatever. So im trying not to get my hopes up, in light of all last week's broken dreams, but its looking like i get to start school NEXT wednesday! We're still not sure how exactly it's getting paid for, but the cosmetology school owner said, "ehhh, come on in! Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's SOMEthing! Jun 22, 2011. Im a dork, I know it. I sometimes call it creative, but really thats just being nice to myself, Im a dork. But i love it. I always seem to have a growing list of projects to do, i never seem to actualy make any of them, but as the summer beggins, so does my embroidery project list. Summer, here its usually too HOT.
