Wednesday, December 20, 2006. I must say Interlaken's probably the best part of the trip. I arrived earlier coz we kinda broke off while rushing for the train from Zurich. It was a peaceful quiet town to walk around at night. The hostel was great (though the staff kept me waiting like half an hour before I could check in) and the best part was Weijie joined us the next morning! Monday, September 11, 2006. Norway would be our second country in our pre-SEP stint. It was 2 girls and a guy now after we bade farewell to EngKheng and made our way to one of the most expensive travel places on Earth! Arriving in Oslo and the National Museum. Our roommates were these 2 German girls who were students as well. Had a nice talk with them and that was when we found out that Karl Johans Gate was an infamous Red Light District at night. Haha. Sunday, November 05, 2006. Flew from Dublin straight to Edinburgh. Met up with Fangxi and Summer and it was a great trip laden with cockups. We booked our day trip tickets to Loch Ness only to be informed the morning itself that the trip had to be cancelled due to lack of people joining in the trip! So we wasted the whole morning planning to go to see the monster ourselves. Immediately we went ahead to book our Megabus tickets. BUT IT WAS FULL! Wednesday, September 06, 2006. 6th Sept - First Day in Stockholm. It was a short night at Rongxuan’s place. considering that we only reached her place at 10 and had to leave at 5 . It was the first time that we experienced the freezing cold of the UK mornings. So, we caught the 2nd bus in the pitch dark and made our way to the Oxford Gloucester Green Bus Station to make our way to Stansted airport. Yes, at the Stansted Airport we ate our first very expensive meal that cost me 7.70! Way back to the hostels.

Monday, December 18, 2006. It was the first stop of Le Grand Europe Tour. Took a plane to Bern. settled some of our train tickets. then took our first train ride using our Eurail to Zurich.
