Liza Woodruff's Art Blog: Half Drop repeat pattern
http://lizawoodruffart.blogspot.com/2014/03/half-drop-repeat-pattern.html
Monday, March 24, 2014. Half Drop repeat pattern. I am mastering this slowly, but I did want to try June's suggestion of a half drop repeat with this pattern. I removed the apron, which would cause problems on the sides, and did the repeat. I can't say that I love it without the apron. It's missing a little something. Here's what I put together to submit as my main fabric and three coordinates:. Well done for trying my suggestion anyway, I like the apron inclusion too :). Subscribe To Liza's Blog. Throug...

Monday, September 08, 2014. Dot Day- September 15. Is coming up. It's a day to celebrate creativity. The idea started with Peter Reynolds' book The Dot, which tells the story of a girl's journey of self discovery through creativity. You can check out more dots here: http:/ www.celebridots.com/. Creating this dot was lots of fun. I loved putting my regular work down so I could play. Very lovely dot Liza :). I have a copy of Peter Reynolds The Dot book. GAIL MAHON 2010 - 2017. Artist, maker and mover. The cause and effect: in us, through us and around us draws the possibilities of materiality as permeable and felt; where we meet materials on their own terms, complicit in the residual and momentary interactions. Mahon speculates the slippages in our immediate futures and reflects on residual traces we leave behind, somehow asking questions of us over entropy and the distablised self while anchors in physical process and practice slowly untether.
