A MAJOR crime syndicate with tentacles reaching West Africa has allegedly been smashed by the NSW Drug Squad. A year-long undercover operation was set up last year into the West African organised-crime syndicate allegedly importing and supplying. Police say the arrest of seven Sydney men has dismantled the syndicate dealing in ice in a two-day operation in Sydney and Adelaide.
