The Schafer Family Stories. Friday, December 26, 2008. Its Christmas once again and we are soooo thankful. We are thankful for our loved ones and happy to be getting through these hard times. We were very thankful to spend the holiday with the ones we love but really missed some who were far away. Next year we will be home. I cannot believe that I have not put my tree up for three years! Saturday, March 7, 2009. Well we finally got our first look at what we are expecting! And I would have to say that we were more excited than we thought we would be! It seems hard to put into words what it feels like to see something like this for the first time but we are both so excited. The ultrasound determined Jenny is about 8 weeks along. At this point its somewhat hard to tell what you are looking at but we did get to see a heartbeat! That's my grand Baby! I think he has eyes.lol. That's not a baby!

Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Today when we went to visit Jaxon the nurse told us they may be taking him off of the feeding tube soon and he was getting 2oz of food every three hours now. After Jenny and I rested we went back to see him and they had taken the feeding tube out and said he devoured the bottle in less than 10 minutes on his own! I love the new pictures! He is soooo cute!
