Home and heritage in the heart of the Garden Route. The riverine valley of Ganzvlei has a wide variety of wildlife. Sightings include numerous bushbuck, porcupines, and even a leopard. Vervet monkeys abound in the sheltering trees and baboons can sometimes be seen making their way across the valley. After rain the valley echoes to the chirrup of many species of frog. Plant species are abundant, with Cape Forest trees as well as fynbos accessible on the nearby Nature Reserve which is reachable by boat.

It has a large living room with picture windows to front and side (East and North) allowing year-round sunlight and magnificent views across the garden and fields to the river. The fireplace with Yellowwood mantelpiece offers a focus for winter evenings. An enclosed stoep runs along the front of the house, making a cool and fresh area for dinging and sitting in summer.
