Thursday, October 16, 2008. Finally, a late day rally. How long has it been since the market closed on a postive note? It was good to see one today. Earlier in the day, I bought RF at 10.31 and sold too early at 10.73 - almost a 4% gain. Then I bought EEP and ended up straddling it until tomorrow because it started to nose-dive right after I purchased it. It made a late-day rally and I would have been alright if I had just held the original position. But, hey, you never know. Over 7% Gain with BWA.

Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Two Plays before Noon. I managed to get in two plays before noon. Bought EWZ a little early at 38.71 and then sold at 39.41 for a 2% gain. Bought WU at 17.25 and (after waiting forever) sold at 17.33 for a slight gain. On both trades, I used the 5-minute charts and got in a little too early. Thursday, October 23, 2008. Two plays today. One went well and the other did not. So let's look at what happened. I exited the trade just 17 minutes later at $7.85, for a nearly 3% gain. The second trade did not go as well. I bought CAL at 10:44 AM at $16.64. Volume and RSI were climbing, the price had touched the Fibonacci line once, and stochastics were headed up. Friday, August 29, 2008. 35 % by 10:30 AM. I played SIGM this morning, buying long at 16.77 and selling at 17.35. When you look at this gap down chart, you'll see that the price ended up going higher. That's okay. Every trader needs an exit strategy.
