Garden Blooms Muse

Musings from the past and present. Sunday, December 28, 2014. Snow and Lights in our Backyard. It snowed on Christmas day this year. It was quite a gift. Beautiful peaceful flakes falling from the skies. Digging seeds out of two very large pumpkins that the neighbors shared with us. So that this next year we can use the seeds in our pumpkin patch! It these seeds work our patch next year will have some very large pumpkins! Thanks Abby, and Thomas and Kate and Carson. That was a great help to Grandpa.

Musings from the past and present. Friday, February 28, 2014. This precious book was given to me by a dear friend. I am so excited to have it and read it. It is full of wonderful prose. I thought I would share:. For Nature with a universal voice. Unites to celebrate each new-born day;. And this from morn to eve, and eve to morn,. All beauty and all grace the earth adorn. So we admire, adore and pass along,. Yet linger most where sweetest flower's are strewn,. And while we mingle in the busy throng. Obvio...

Garden Blooms Muse: August 2014

http://www.gardenbloomsmuse.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html

Musings from the past and present. Saturday, August 30, 2014. These cute boys were my buddies for a day last week! Matt and Shannon's family came up from CA, to Deer Valley for the weekend. They invited us up because Susi and Spade were here from Florida this weekend too! We headed off to the ponds to see the birds. We saw a Sandhill Crane fly past just a honking away as it passed above us. We went looking for it and found it in a very small pond, it was then too dark to photograph. Love, love, love them!

All BROWN Eyes: bear lake fun.

http://heidicorybrown.blogspot.com/2014/08/bear-lake-fun.html

Welcome to bits of our life. We planned a trip to bear lake with cory's family almost 9 months ago. little did we know that there would be crazy rain the whole time! We camped at rendezvous beach. luckily we had a pavilion to keep us dry for quite a while. but it was inevitable that things would get too wet and we would get too cold. so much to everyone's dismay, we packed it up and left a day early. still, lots of fun memories and fun were had! Elsie was content to play at the beach the whole time.
