A Garden in France: Silver lining in Laos

http://gardeninfrance.blogspot.com/2014/01/silver-lining-in-laos.html

Silver lining in Laos. Monsieur Garden explose. Tant pis pour de nouvelles ...

Long time no see.

A Garden in France: août 2013

http://gardeninfrance.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Britt-Arnhild's Blue Garden: May 2008

http://brittarnhildsbluegarden.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

About the joy of playing in a Norwegian garden. Sunday, 18 May 2008. Though we are back to cold temperatures, my tulips have never been blooming in May 17th, Norway's Constitutional Day. Before. This year their beauty sends out flirtatious vibes. I was out photographing early this morning, and the buds were not open yet. Later today they will unfold their hearts offering love to the world. The white ball like ones are supposed to be red with white stripes when they open. I am excited to see. Made by a ci...

Well haven't we been lucky with the weather for Easter - so unusual! Good Friday as you may well know, is not a holiday here, so nothing special happened apart from havin. A drink or two, was my turn to make the dinner which was a lovely roast lamb with all the trimmings and strawberries for dessert! Thats what holidays are all about doing sweet nothing! Monday, 23 March 2009. Busy, Busy, Busy! I have been a busy Jillybeans today! You may well remember when I first started the garden here in the small. The plan, lets hope it comes to fruition! https://awesomeherbs.wordpress.com/2011/04/13/what-is-this-color

What is this color I see? April 13, 2011 at 8:31 pm. Rabbits by my house are merciless. But could this year really be different? Look what I found proudly sitting in the sun … COLORFUL CROCUSES! Oh, rabbits, are you messing with me, mocking me, lulling me into a false sense of security that I get to actually enjoy my tulips and crocuses without constant vigilance. Whatever. I’ll be ready. But, thanks for the sweet reprieve right now! What’s your best secret for keeping the rabbits at bay? April 14, 2011 ...

Will wonders never cease? | Herbs and Wonders

https://awesomeherbs.wordpress.com/2011/05/07/will-wonders-never-cease

Will wonders never cease? May 7, 2011 at 2:40 pm. A fair warning …. What I’m about to tell you might make some of you blush, others filled with morbid curiosity and still others never visit this blog again. I take my chances. There was buzzing. Lots of buzzing. I looked around to make sure I wasn’t going to be involved in target practice of some kind – but nothing. I turned back to my book. Still. The rhythmic buzzing continued. I got up to find 2 bees, mating like rabbits and right underneath my chair!

Gardening & Flowers

1) A wide size of flower bed is better. This is to allow the adding of graceful flowering trees and flowering shrubs that may grow as season changes. It also allows that lush and layered look for more planting opportunities. The flower beds should be at least 5-6 feet in width. 5) Create unity for your garden flower bed designs. Try to limit the colors and the sizes of the beds if possible. Make it more harmonious as well to give a more appreciating look for the garden. If needed or possible,...

Gardening from A to Z

Gardening from A to Z. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. REQUISITES OF THE HOME VEGETABLE GARDEN. In deciding upon the site for the home vegetable garden it is well to dispose once and for all of the old idea that the garden "patch" must be an ugly spot in the home surroundings. If thoughtfully planned, carefully planted and thoroughly cared for, it may be made a beautiful and harmonious feature of the general scheme, lending a touch of comfortable homeliness that no shrubs, borders, or beds can ever produce.
