My Brown Thumb: Another baby veggie update
http://mybrownthumb.blogspot.com/2009/07/first-meal-worthy-harvest.html
Another baby veggie update. A friend sent me this. Video after seeing my last post. In which I compared corn to Beeker from the muppets. So on this evenings garden walk, I noticed that the corn now resembles Animal. I also noticed my first baby bell pepper. My neighbors might think I'm crazy. Every time I see a new baby vegetable for the first time, such as with this eggplant, I squeal outloud "OMG, an EGGPLANT! Then I repeat, "Max, it's an eggplant! Tuesday, July 14, 2009. GardenDesk: Planting Peas and Potatoes for Patty's Day!
http://gardendesk.blogspot.com/2010/03/planting-peas-and-potatoes-for-pattys.html
Studying Organic Gardening Together. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Planting Peas and Potatoes for Patty's Day! Happy St Patrick's Day! Here in Kentucky, instead of wearing green we can plant it! Snow days are for garden planning. Saturday, January 30, 2010. It's a perfect January day today - snowy and cold! Virginia Tropics: Cold hardy Gingers
http://www.virginiatropics.com/2010/01/cold-hardy-gingers.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. Cold hardy ginger plants produce stunning bunches of flowers which butterflies flock to! Many gingers of the Hedychium genus are cold hardy to Zone 7 as long as they are properly winterized. From a small rhizome cutting. This particular ginger is not often recommended for Zone 7,...
