Garden Update! - Bizar
http://cydciedah.livejournal.com/10959.html
27 Februar 2011 @ 18:30. A random hard freeze killed off what was left, expect for that Lemon Balm and Lemon Thyme! This is what I awoke to this morning:. Why is this such a big deal? I live in Arizona! The last time it snowed was 2008 on my 18th birthday :B. All the plants seem wholly unaffected by the snow! Lemon Thyme thriving, trying to crawl across walkway. Alaskan sweet peas, spinach, variety lettuce, garlic in the garden. Broccoli in the newspaper pots. I'm adding another 8ft of garden space!

Florida lilac question - Florida Gardener
http://floridagardener.livejournal.com/9694.html
Gardening in the Sunshine State. Jul 14th, 2011 at 4:17 PM. The lilac posts on. Got me started searching and it looks like some of the low-chill varieties might. Work here (Gainesville, FL 8b). But does anyone out there have any real life experience? If so, which varieties did you grow/attempt and how did they work out for you? Am I just setting myself up for a boatload of heartache? I would dearly love to have a lilac or two in my garden, I miss them so. Gainesville, FL 8b. View my Tags page.

Today's Harvest! - Florida Gardener
http://floridagardener.livejournal.com/6358.html
Gardening in the Sunshine State. Jun 25th, 2009 at 3:49 PM. Black-eyed Peas, Banana Pepper, and tomatoes - Razzleberry, Red Cherry, Wickline Cherry, and Juliet. This harvest is actually a little smaller as far as tomatoes go, than what I have been getting. I didn't pick any cukes today either, but I have already eaten several.
