http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wish You Were Here. Monday, August 22, 2011. I want to start by apologizing for not writing in so long. I have had a hard time balancing my move, prepping for school, and blogging. I miss the summer ( the time, not the hot weather- it needed to be said. SO, I'm sorry to all that follow my blog and might feel disappointed in my lack of attention. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Here's my unopened text book with a neat cup Garrett got in one of his meetings. Yeah for free stuff! Friday, August 12, 2011. Not know...

Wish You Were Here: May 2015
http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Wish You Were Here. Saturday, May 30, 2015. I fixed my hair! Tonight my husband and I got a date night. My wonderful sister lovingly agreed to watch the kids while we went to dinner and had adult time. I desperately needed this night. I don't get out much due to my daughter's lack of schedule. Thus my need to escape from my children, whom I love, has been high. This shirt was made for me. Tomorrow my hair will be back in my ponytail but it was nice while it lasted. I felt pretty. Wish You Were Here: September 2011
http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wish You Were Here. Sunday, September 4, 2011. We're on a mission! A mission to find good food in Findlay, Ohio. Is it possible? Can Findlay stack up to the culinary mecca that is Rogers, AR? When Garrett and I first moved to Fayetteville from Fort Smith ( back in the day. So far, we've done well at covering all of our restaurants bases. We've eaten at a diverse group of places- everything from Thai to burgers. Because of our food mission ( and to the desire to stay healthy, blah blah blah. All of the ma...

Wish You Were Here: January 2015
http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wish You Were Here. Sunday, January 18, 2015. I began scouring my old cookbooks and Pinterest boards for meals that were easy, affordable, and ones I've always wanted to make even if they weren't easy or that affordable ( A little culinary splurge now and again never hurt anyone or any budget. Next, I had to create a calendar. When I get organized I go all the way people. I found this neat, dry erase magnet on Zulily. It makes me happy, so it's perfect. It's made by a'la Board. Please note these are not.

Wish You Were Here: Let's Eat! Part 3
http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2015/06/lets-eat-part-3.html
Wish You Were Here. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. It's been food experiment city in the Rea household lately. We signed up for a local CSA (crop share association), so I've been cooking with some fun new veggies! Mostly, I have been sautéing greens that I've never eaten like multi-colored chard, komatsuna, bok choy, and collard greens ( I know, I know, I'm not a true southerner.don't judge me. We've also had several variations of radishes, the latest being huge ( see my Instagram. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon.

Wish You Were Here: January 2012
http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wish You Were Here. Saturday, January 21, 2012. As most of you know, I am done teaching for a while. Thus, my days are filled with sleeping in ( wonderful. Doing dishes ( blah I miss having a dishwasher. And organizing ( a guilty pleasure. Ok, so I also spend some mornings catching up on all my Hulu shows that Garrett doesn't have an interest in. When I'm not crying at my computer, you can find me searching through Pinterest. I originally had no interest ( ha! I've named him Boots. My second trimester be...

Wish You Were Here: February 2012
http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wish You Were Here. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Where Are My Luxurious Locks? One of the perks of living in pregnancy land is typically having thicker, fuller hair. All the things I read say things like, "enjoy your lovely, flowing locks while they last." ( They say, "while they last," because once the baby comes, your new thicker hair will supposedly start coming out in clumps. Thus is my life now: I no longer can get my hair to curl naturally. I'd be happy to deal with losing all my luxury after the b...

Wish You Were Here: July 2011
http://brookejrea.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Wish You Were Here. Saturday, July 30, 2011. The Dump is Where? Here's one of our piles of packed boxes. Good times. Today was a packing extravaganza. We had several goals to meet today ( one of which was to put away laundry, as it was getting in the way of packing- go figure. Tomorrow after church we head to Fort Smith, AR to see Garrett's family one last time before we leave. It'll be good to see them one last time before we leave; we probably won't see them again until Christmas. Monday, July 25, 2011.
