Thursday, April 7, 2011. Day 31 (7 Apr) : OIP TIANJIN 2011. Today is a day of presentations! At the end of the presentations, it also officially ended our OIP in Tianjin. A Closing Ceremony was hedl and was attended by our China buddies and a few lecturers from the University. The teacher-in charge of the University gives out Certificates to each of us and also a small token of gift. It was very nice gesture by the University of Technology (Tianjin). Some are getting last minute souvenirs for their loved ones back home trying to expend till their Yuan dries up. haha. I had my clothes send to the laundry in preparation for my return trip. Sunday, April 3, 2011. Day 27 (3 Apr, SUNDAY) : OIP TIANJIN 2011. I had a fever today. My friends bought me some medicine and honey to cool my body. I slept the whole day and only woke up in the evening for dinner. I suppose I caught the fever when I was at the Great Wall. Upon to return to Tianjin, I was already feeling feverish and thought that it was just a minor fever. Rules governing the ideal site. This is a traditional culture/belief of the Chinese. Today i finally had some good well needed sleep! Anyways, today we went for lunch with one of our chinese buddy! We went to eat at one of their dormitories canteen. What i saw there when i ordered my hot plate rice was that the bowl was filled with grease and oil! Compared to singapore our school dorms has hot water for bathing!

I felt proud of Singapore and I had a sense of home even though there might not the place that I belong to. We went back to hotel after we took a group photo.
