Did for us, we delivered notes/packages to the Director and respective children in the Berdyansk. Orphanage. This is a photo of the Director of the Orphanage and her staff. Made it to boarding, and then had to have luggage pulled.) It has been an emotional roller-coaster. Thank you for your love and prayers, and phone calls and emails this weekend! Welcome Home - Elizabeth. Adoption journey to Berdyansk, Ukraine. April 15, 2007. Our journey has begun! We packed up a rental car and are on our way to JFK. We elected to drive to JFK and not risk a canceled Richmond to JFK flight due to the ongoing storm. Tomorrow we will continue our drive to JFK and be on our way to Kiev. We look forward to our arrival in Kiev on Tuesday. Kate's brother and sister (Sasha and Lena) will both be traveling from Kharkiv to Berdyansk to visit with us during our time there...

Stan and Terri Adoption Process. Monday, February 19, 2007. On the road again. Monday, Feb. 19. Dear Friends and Family,. It's 6:30 am and we're sitting in the United Airlines Red Carpet Club in Frankfurt. We're awaiting our connecting flight to Kiev. Then. we catch the overnight train to Zaphorizia. Then. we drive two hours to Berdyansk. The flights from Richmond to Chicago to Frankfurt went well and I enjoyed my first flight on a 777 aircraft. Peace and love,. Posted by Stan and Terri. Welcome Home - Elizabeth. Adoption journey to Berdyansk, Ukraine. May 17, 2007. The ten day wait is over and we have picked up the official court decree legally declaring Elizabeth our daughter. We are blessed and thrilled with this addition to our family. Elizabeth is a wonderful child and we are amazed with how natural our family feels. We shouldn't be surprised, but . . . From this point, our vacation is replaced by a hectic schedule to secure the remaining documents required to bring Elizabeth home.

Stan and Terri Adoption Process. Saturday, February 10, 2007. Family and friends,. We arrived home Tuesday around midnight…it was a long trip with planes, trains and automobiles! It is great to be home. Thanks so much to our Williamsburg friends and neighbors for the food delivered to our house before our arrival and a basket of goodies delivered the next morning! It is greatly appreciated and we are so fortunate to have such wonderful friends and neighbors. We will update the blog again from Ukraine.
