As a mustard seed. Eight Month Letter to a Rambunctious Rambo! January 30, 2015. September 27, 2014:. My rambunctious little boy,. This month was all about movement for you. You made more physical leaps and bounds this month than in any prior month. When this month started, you were still just getting the hang of the army crawl pulling yourself forward by your arms, with your legs dragging behind. But on August 6. From that time on, you have been. By standing on your own yikes! Movement was a definitely ...

Who Am I? | .as a mustard seed.
https://mrscox.wordpress.com/about
As a mustard seed. I’m not fully certain about who exactly I am. What I do know is that my life is a breath, just a vapor; from the mouth of a mighty God that breathes stars and ordains all life with just a Word. I am trying to learn how to balance my insignificance and my temporal life with the understanding that I am been created with purpose and meaning for this life. I’m His, and that carries some serious weight. One thought on “ Who Am I? March 31, 2008 at 7:06 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Create...

Crockpot Corn & Potato Chowder | marriage and munchies
https://marriageandmunchies.wordpress.com/2012/05/31/crockpot-corn-potato-chowder-13
Crockpot Corn and Potato Chowder. Photo Caption: I forgot to include carrots in this picture because they were an afterthought. We decided this week that we would not go to the grocery store or eat out. Jason did cheat yesterday and go to McDonalds, but that is okay. That means we have to eat what we have left over in the fridge and pantry. Challenge accepted. 5 cups chicken broth. 1/2 cup cream (I used heavy whipping cream I had left over from Fondue a month ago. score). 5 small red potatoes, cubed.

Easy Cheddar Cheese Fondue | marriage and munchies
https://marriageandmunchies.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/easy-cheddar-cheese-fondue
Easy Cheddar Cheese Fondue. I love fondue. Who wouldn’t love melted cheese to dip various food in. It also indulges my bent toward indecision. Will I dip apple? I can do one of each if I so desired. Last April, Jason and I went to the Melting Pot. And still drool over the concept of going back. I just can’t bring myself to spent $80-$100 on a dinner of dipping. Which is actually adapted from the Melting Pot! 1 cup of beer (we used Hefeweizen, but I am sure any will do). 3 cups shredded Sharp Cheddar.

Homemade Hamburger Buns (or Rolls?) | marriage and munchies
https://marriageandmunchies.wordpress.com/2013/01/19/homemade-hamburger-buns-or-rolls
Homemade Hamburger Buns (or Rolls? After finding a recipe for Ground Beef Philly Cheese steaks Sloppy Joes. I decided I wanted to adapt it for Ground Venison. I also didn’t want to buy hamburger buns and came across this recipe. I decided to try them out today. I definitely made them too round and needed to punch them down a little more. They are also really more like rolls and could easily be made small to go with soup for dinner! I am back on the domestic cooking train! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Funfetti Cake Balls | marriage and munchies
https://marriageandmunchies.wordpress.com/2012/06/03/funfetti-cake-balls
Apparently Cake Pops are all the rage these days. My friend Chelsea and I went to Cupcake Royale in the Madrona Neighborhood of Seattle last weekend and I enjoyed a tasty Cake Pop. They didn’t seem too hard: bake a cake, smash it up, cover it in chocolate or something. There are many ways to make cake pops and you can get a Cake Pop maker at places like Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. I came across this recipe. Cake Mix (I used Funfetti, but you can use any kind). A bag of White Chocolate Chips. It is be...

Making Cards are Cheaper Than Buy Cards. June is full of celebrations with multiple friend and family birthdays and graduations, I could spend a lot of Hallmark cards at the store. Why do that when I can make them for free? Thanks to my mother for spending many years accruing craft supplies and then bequeathing them to me. I have quite the stash of stamps, paper and other fun stuff so come over anytime for a craft night. Tonight, my dear friend Krista came over for some Funfetti Cake Balls. Build a websi...
