Happy St. Patty’s Day | 5th & Kitchen
https://gastronomicglutton.wordpress.com/2011/03/19/happy-st-pattys-day
Navigating this new parenthood and cooking my way through it. Happy St. Patty’s Day. March 19, 2011. I made the traditional corned beef and cabbage for dinner. The fella and I both came to the realization that we don’t like corned beef, unless that corned beef is apart of a breakfast accompaniment corned beef hash. The cabbage, potatoes, and carrots were quite tasty though. Happy St. Patricks day everyone! Homemade Ricotta Cheese……Finally. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Navigating this new parenthood and cooking my way through it. Homemade Ricotta Cheese……Finally. March 16, 2011. Unless, of course you don’t really care for ricotta cheese, in which case you should try it anyway. Because, it is so much better than anything you buy out of a tub from your local grocer. While you bring the milk up to just a simmer juice and zest your lemons. I don’t have photos of the milk simmering cause the stove shots always seem to be awful so we’ll skip that shot. March 15, 2011. I thin...
Strawberry Jelly | 5th & Kitchen

Navigating this new parenthood and cooking my way through it. March 27, 2011. This recipe is easy, and how great would it be to have jelly in the fridge that you made instead of some jar filled with high fructose corn syrup ( don’t get me started on those ridiculous hfcs commercials that the government is funding) among the other crappy ingredients they shove in there, with fruit being one of the last ingredients. Sorry was I ranting? Dice up your fruit nice and small. Happy St. Patty’s Day. Yes, very tr...

Navigating this new parenthood and cooking my way through it. February 27, 2011. Hey guys, I am currently working on making some home made ricotta cheese. Apparently it is quite easy to make, it just needs about a day to sit. So, as soon as I have my final product, I will post it as fast as my not- so- little fingers can type. Lets cross our fingers it comes out at least as tasty as a watery tub of Polly-O. Wish me luck! A Quick Lunch….Or Dinner. February 26, 2011. Milk, of the Nutty Variety. In a small ...

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Links to this post. Thursday, July 2, 2009. This is what I like about Shakespeare. On the surface, they’re boring outdated plays. However, when you take the time to understand it, it suddenly becomes genius and is perfect. Without good teachers, I never would have given Shakespeare a second thought. Links to this post. Monday, April 27, 2009. By the way, this is slam poetry, so read it as such). I want this to be a great piece. The bee’s sweet honey cannot compare to your.

Gastronomic Geek | Food, music, life, &c.
Food, music, life, &c. Blog Reboot, Again. Posted by Jan Nato. Asymp; Leave a comment. I’ve decided to take yet another whack at writing this blog. Gastronomic Geek started out as a blog that reviewed local restaurants, and documented fleeting foodie experiences. However, my student wallet began to feel the tightening grip of the recession, and my writing fell to the wayside. I hope that you will enjoy. Posted by Jan Nato. Asymp; Leave a comment.
