Monday, June 15, 2015. I visited a friend in Raleigh, NC over a three day weekend. While it was 90 degrees there, back in Illinois it was in the 40's and 50's. We decided to keep it somewhat and visit three state parks. The first was Raven Rock. I think I liked this one the best. Friday, January 23, 2015. Arkansas, Day 2. We got up in the morning and headed to Hot Springs National Park. We got there on the earlier side before the visitor center opened, and decided to do some hiking. The trails were nice; we didn't come across anyone else. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. A couple weeks ago, there was bad weather in the south suburbs of Chicago. I happened to be in Joliet that night, but it went about 15 miles south.
