Mike and Carol's Blog. Friday, October 06, 2006. More Adventures in London. We are having a great time in London! We went to get our rail tickets for Paris. We went to Trafalgar Square. Which is full of statues but the biggest is dedicated to Admiral Nelson (another dead guy) but a very cool place anyway. We have not been able to figure out the bus system so we have had 30-60 minute walks back to the hotel every day with some interesting talks about those skills. We went to the Tate Museum of Modern Art.

Mike and Carol's Blog. Wednesday, October 18, 2006. The Ithala Game Reserve. Tuesday we decided to go to Ithala Game Reserve. About 400 km from Estcourt. We had a great drive there and saw a lot of the countryside. We did not get lost which was good as none of us had been there before. This was a beautiful reserve and huge! We saw zebras, giraffes, wart hogs, wildebeest, antelopes, kudus, giant lizards, all kinds of deer, and a Rhino! He was huge and close! Love you and miss you all,. Welcome to the Blog.

Mike and Carol's Blog. Thursday, October 05, 2006. A new day and a new update for you. We have been busy but having a very good time. We went to Westminster. Yesterday. Quite a historical place. We saw the tombs of Elizabeth, Mary Queen of Scotts, Edward, George, Henry, Chaucer, Kipling, Handel, Laurence Olivier, Dickens and all kinds of people that died as far back as 4-500 AD. We went to Buckingham Palace. Today Big stinking house! Saw right through us. So we missed Liz. Love to all,. You guys are mean!

Mike and Carol's Blog. Wednesday, October 18, 2006. On Monday we got an early call to come help Saatish (Shacks and Tony's son) with his daughter who was ill. We rushed to Pietermaritzburg. To his home took her to the doctor and she felt much better. We went with the idea that we would watch her while he was at work but he stayed home so we went touristing. The first was a lion park and you have never seen them like this! We saw all kinds of animals Zebras, Wildebeests. Kudus, Antelope and Elephants!

We miss you all and are looking forward to coming home. On Saturday we went to the " Berg. Quite a dramatic range with very steep cliff faces and beautiful rock formations. The area we went to was called Champagne Castle. Working to build their nests. We also saw a Zulu. Love you and miss you all,. Dad, M and C, Grandma and Grandpa.
