As per normal bank holiday Monday weather it spent much of the early hours, till just short of midday peeing it down! Not Always A Flyer! Sunday, March 26, 2006. Oh dear, I suppose the start of the day was an omen of what was to come for the rest of the day! Clocks were changed as needed last night no problem, trouble is I slept through the alarm this morning and woke up 20 mins before I was due to be picked up! Arriving at the venue it looked good, the water was much more coloured than it had been and it was nice and mild although the predicted rather brisk south westerly wind has hacking down to the bottom of the lake.
