Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Cafeteria *** Mormons have it the hardest. I've been thinking the last couple days and developed this opinion. The topics I'm about to bring up are all my thoughts, and you're free to disagree! And since I'm such a nice guy, I am capable of swaying my opinion with the right arguments. When it comes to confusion, wasted time, depression, and overall difficulty, I believe that the cafeteria *** Mormons have it the hardest. Before you throw your tomatoes, let me try and explain.

Gay Mormon Southpaw: August 2015

http://www.gaymormonsouthpaw.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 30, 2015. Game show eye candy. I really love a good game show. While I prefer game shows from before I was born, (eg Match Game from the 70's) there are some good ones on today. Brandon T. Jackson. Etc etc. etc. Ok, many of the above aren't necessary A-list celebrities, but they're still pretty. And there have been many other pretty men on the show, but the above is a good sample. Watching good looking celebrities, male and female, raising money for charity, I guess is quite the turn on!

Gay Mormon Southpaw: Confession time! Here's what's on your mind - Round 2

http://www.gaymormonsouthpaw.blogspot.com/2015/03/confession-time-heres-whats-on-your.html

Monday, March 30, 2015. Here's what's on your mind - Round 2. Two weeks ago, I started the 2nd annual Moho Confessionals. I requested anonymous secrets from you all on what it's like to be gay and Mormon. Below are the 14 confessions I received. (Which is considerably less than the 26 I received the first go around. I wish some of these comments WERE NOT anonymous because I have a few follow-up questions to these! The secrets below are unedited. I'd love to hear your response. I've tried so hard to balan...

Gay Mormon Southpaw: Is Tom Christofferson a game changer?

http://www.gaymormonsouthpaw.blogspot.com/2014/06/is-tom-christofferson-game-changer.html

Sunday, June 29, 2014. Is Tom Christofferson a game changer? UPDATE on 8-6-15 - Since this is, by far, the most read post on my blog, I feel the need to add this - I've heard through the grapevine that Tom is no longer with his partner and is currently working on rebaptism to the church. This blog post. He wrote doesn't directly confirm this, but gives details here and there. When asked on the Mormons Building Bridges Facebook page. If Tom is still with his partner, Kendall Wilcox of Far Between. Tom has...

Gay Mormon Southpaw: If I were Josh Weed, I'd be pretty pissed right now

http://www.gaymormonsouthpaw.blogspot.com/2015/04/if-i-were-josh-weed-id-be-pretty-pissed.html

Wednesday, April 15, 2015. If I were Josh Weed, I'd be pretty pissed right now. It's quite obvious, but I try my best to remain anony. Mous Some of you know who I am. Some know what I look like. And some of you are my Facebook friends. But I have a list of reasons as to why I hide my true identity, and what I learned today is another good reason for staying anonymous. On Monday, I learned through a Slate article. That a bunch of LDS gay men and their wives are listed in an amicus brief. In favor of gay m...

Gay Mormon Southpaw: They just HAD to bring up the gays. (And The Weed's disappearing act.)

http://www.gaymormonsouthpaw.blogspot.com/2013/10/they-just-had-to-bring-up-gays-and.html

Sunday, October 6, 2013. They just HAD to bring up the gays. (And The Weed's disappearing act.). Before General Conference started, I really hoped they'd just skip the whole "gay" topic all together. Just skim over it and focus on other things. In fact, after Saturday's sessions, I thought we were in the clear. Then on Sunday, we were hit with a double whammy. Just as I thought things we're 'getting better,' when it comes to equality, Oaks and Nelson takes us a few steps back. The above venting is probab...

Like Light Through a Prism: Always Two Sides

http://likelightthroughaprism.blogspot.com/2014/12/always-two-sides.html

Like Light Through a Prism. I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then." - Lewis Carroll in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Monday, December 22, 2014. Is there an age at which it becomes acceptable to be "old and bitter"? And it's the one thing, apparently, that I am not to have. But other people are finding love. I see the wedding pictures and read the Facebook posts all the time. It's working for them. What am I doing differently? What am I doing wrong? Am I being too picky?

Like Light Through a Prism. I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then." - Lewis Carroll in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Sunday, June 8, 2014. The Talk That Never Was. I went home and thought a lot about it. If I gave a talk, what would I want to say? How could I give a talk and make it relevant to everyone? Would people even listen to what I had to say even though I would not be able to fill it with Book of Mormon references and spiritual parallels? I had been absent from al...

Like Light Through a Prism. I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then." - Lewis Carroll in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Saturday, May 31, 2014. On the Box: Sexual Appetites and Intimate Needs. Last night I came across a video. For us, things that are (or should be) pretty easy to forego. How exactly does Mr. Mansfield define "intimacy"? And what does it require to satisfy our human need for it? Are there other emotions involved in being intimate with someone? If I am looking...

This site has been created to provide a forum for gay men, lesbians and their families and friends to share their stories. The common denominator is Mormonism with the hope that those who are journeying therein will feel less alone after reading these stories. Some of the stories you read here may not always use peoples real names for obvious reasons. In some instances, authors may choose to remain anonymous because theyre not yet out to family, friends or the church. In an ideal world none of th...Your ...
