A family story about a hellish condition. Two Years of Progress. July 3, 2011 in Uncategorized. Time for another blog after 2 years on from the start of GBS. Everyone says I have made a miraculous recovery, but I knew I would as my eldest son told me this after GBS was confirmed. He read all he could on the subject on the internet and assured me I would get well in 6 weeks, and I believed him! Once at home with my ever patient husband, I think things got easier in leaps and bounds- even in a new house!

A family story about a hellish condition. July 16, 2014 in Uncategorized. It is now five years since I contracted GBS and I have discovered I can now tie my shoelaces! As a result it is nice to report that GBS has made me lose some weight! December 24, 2013 in Uncategorized. Another year passes by and it is now exactly 4 years since I left hospital. The bad news is that my husband broke his foot (Jones fracture) 6 weeks ago which has made me more active about the house which most probably is a good thing.
