Our July, 2011 missions trip. July 21, 2011. Lots More to Tell…. After yesterday’s hard work at Word Made Flesh, the team stayed in today for recap, encouragement of each other, a lunch with the ministry leaders we have all met during these last few weeks — and now, a goodbye fiesta for the amazing young people we met here. Our July, 2011 missions trip. July 16, 2011. Casa de Esperanza, part 1. I already discussed the Rute de la Muerte, so there isn’t a need to belabor our long and dusty return. We were all better rested today and more used to Bolivia. Thankfully, the only ones of these we encountered were the tiny biting sort. Some of us — Marieli and Sarah P. in particular — received quite a few bites, despite constant application of bug spray. July 15, 2011. Bolivia: Day 3, Travel on the Rute de la Muerte. July 14, 2011.
