The summer months are a great time to spot dragonfly and damselfly in the wetlands of the Seven Lochs Wetland Park, with the striking blue and red of our native damselflies a common site around the edges of the park's many ponds and lochs. Can you tell the difference between the different blue species? To let us know what you’ve seen out and about in the park and if you have any photographs send them in and we could add them to our wildlife gallery. Seven Lochs Wetland Park. Wee Dig Provan Hall. Wee Dig Provan Hall is an exciting community archaeology project to learn more about the history of this fascinating building. Volunteers, students and schoolchildren have been working with experts from Northlight Heritage on an archaeological dig at Provan Hall House. They've unearthed some new facts about the building, and found pottery, metalwork and glass dating back to the 17th century! Check out the project video blogs on the right of this page. For more see our project gallery.
