It's always more fun when I can caravan with other classic cars; they definitely draw attention on the highway. Whenenever possible, I bring my dog along. Max. Considering that both my mechanical skills and budget are limited, it has taken a while to restore my '64 Impala. A full frame-off restoration isn't practical, but I do want to make Betty look and run her best within reason. Fix backup lights, diagnose hot starting problem. TMK Mobil, Chandler, AZ. Spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap for tune up. Four P195/75R14 whitewall tires. TMK Mobil, Chandler, AZ. Air conditioning hoses, drier, conversion to R134A refrigerant.
