Need I say more? 6 June 2008 · 5:21 pm. Some of the last adventures. I’ve asked for the grace of acceptance, and so I guess I shouldn’t wonder why I feel strangely okay with leaving this place. It was hard to leave St. Peter’s, but other than that, I feel ready for the next step. The weather has been gorgeous the past few days, and this morning was no different. The Pope’s windows were open again! The whole south side of the piazza was completely blocked off with cops and suited guards standing around.

WE LIKE TO EAT VEGAN: June 2011

WE LIKE TO EAT VEGAN. Ed and Deanna Templeton's reviews about vegan food encountered on our travels around the world. Vegan since 1991. Monday, June 20, 2011. Hangawi Restaurant, New York City. On recommendation from our good friend Sweet Melissa we tried Hangawi. In NYC, A Gourmet Korean restaurant that is also 100% vegan. Everything was super good, but it costs a pretty penny. Ever wonder what a 15$ salad looks like? This is my sweet little lady Deanna, happy and enjoying our "high-roller" dinner.

Newer posts →. 3 June 2008 · 6:41 pm. This morning I went into the city early, for 7am Mass at St. Peter’s. As I wrote a few years ago:. The best time to pray in St. Peter’s is early morning, just as the guards open the metal detectors for the first of the pilgrims to enter the vast basilica. At this time, the immensity becomes much smaller and intimate, as the Creator of the world enters space and time on the altars throughout the church. It was a good day. 3 June 2008 · 4:13 pm. Need I say more? A year later… →. 9 June 2008 · 4:18 am. Well, I suppose this is my last post. It’s hard to believe it’s over. As I’m sitting here at home at my parents’ computer, it really seems like the last five months was a dream. I know about sixty people read my blog daily. I’m humbled that so many of you would take the time to read about my experiences. Thanks for sticking with it. I ask for your prayers as I continue on in life– because really, our whole life is an adventure, right? In Nashville,...

A year later… | My Roman Adventures

22 February 2009 · 6:21 pm. A year later…. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since my Roman adventure. Some days it feels like a million years ago. Other days it feels like it could have happened yesterday. And I’m always available if you have questions or are looking for advice. Ten days or ten months — both can be equally daunting and your trip will benefit from a little preparation — research into places to see, yes, but even just some mental/psychological preparation! I hope you enjoy the blog...

Some of the last adventures →. 5 June 2008 · 9:31 pm. 8221; and ask you. Where you’re going. As if they didn’t. See the Swiss Guard letting me through! I decided perhaps they think we pretty girls just wink at the Swiss Guards and don’t have to report our business to them? I’m not sure. Anyway, it’s annoying. So I went there, and then bought a few last minute souvenirs, then headed to the Papal Audience to see Pope Benedict one last time. Then we had a Scavi tour! 8221; by John Walsh. An.
