Sometimes I think they would be more fun if I wrote them in crayon, just to throw people off. Most days when I check off one item (at least) two more appear. Sometimes I forget how nice it is to relax. February 20, 2012 at 5:58 pm ( Favorite Things. Taking the back roads. This weekend I was treated to a surprise getaway. A quick escape to relax and spend some quality time with my boyfriend. We drove out to Shiner stopping at a a steakhouse in Moulton. One stop I forgot to mention in the quick rundown was this place called Howard’s Convenience Store. I recommend the Anitques, Art and Beer. Mainly because the city of Shiner seems to shut down around sunset.
