Having always been pedantic about first, second and third cousins - once, twice and thrice removed; and being able to rattle off everyone's birthday at the drop of a hat (until all the nephews and nieces came along), this is a brand new, and ongoing project for me, my mum and my mother and father in law. My daughter Aimee came home with a school project, Discover and Write about Your Family Tree. Well, after jotting down a few names and dates, I had to contact my mother, Val. S parents, Bob. Eventually I...

Kaysea - Mark

http://www.kaysea.com/mark.php

A photo of Mark and his dum and mad.oops.mum and dad. (damn spoonerisms! A series of professional photo's were taken of him. See the quiff of hair? A sign of the curls to come.none of the kids really looked liked him when they were born, but now the resemblance in two of them is more obvious. Look at the curls now! None of my kids have curly or even wavy hair, they all ended up like me with dead straight hair, what a shame! First year of High School! Don't we all feel old now! Back to the Top.

Kaysea - Liverpool

http://www.kaysea.com/liverpool.php

Whenever I get misty eyed about Liverpool, I think of "Ferry 'cross the Mersey" the old Gerry and the Pacemakers hit song. I scammed this pic from the Liverpool Echo. Site A lot of the pic's I'm using here are ones from there, until I can get my own pics scanned. The last visit we had to Liverpool was back in 1993, when we went to visit the relly's. Okay, I surrender, here's a pic of the Beatles. What page on Liverpool wouldn't be complete without them? Ah well, each to their own. Thankfully since the Sh...

Kaysea - Karen

http://www.kaysea.com/karen.php

My smile may not be as big as Aimee's but then again, I may have had insight into what I would become! Collecting water for the caravan, at Rhyl. The chalet's in the background are where we stayed almost 30 years later, when we visited the UK in 1993. I think I was about 2 here.so late '66 this one was taken. I used to love those holidays. Just before we left the UK for Australia. From left: Andrew.Paul.Guy.and me. G* I never did get round to painting Boy George! Back to the Top.

Mornington - Kaysea

http://www.kaysea.com/mornington.php

Mornington is an hours drive, or 50klm from Melbourne, down the east side of Port Philip Bay. It was founded in 1860 as a fishing village and farming land, but now boasts a sizeable township and even a racecourse. The bigger joke was - we eventually got married. And we are still together almost 16 years, and three children later. Another monument was erected on high ground overlooking the Pier, this monument is a statue of Mathew Flinders, one of the first people to circumnavigate Australia. He looks...

Kaysea's Place

http://www.kaysea.com/aimee.php

This is one dress Aimee will never get to have on her Baby Born doll. This is Mark's families Christening Gown. Worn by generations of the family - Mark included. Aimee was the last of my kids to wear it. Doesn't she look adorable? The gown was made in Ireland about 120 years ago, and is in the care of Mark's aunt June. Who is about to become a grandmother for the first time. In years to come Aimee will hate me putting this pic up, but I don't care! I'll let you be the judge! Back to the Top.

Kaysea - Bobbie

http://www.kaysea.com/bobbie.php

This photo was taken the day Melanie took Bobbie for 'show and tell' at Kindy. Thankfully he was in a good mood at the time. I can see a resemblance to me at this age, but as you'll see he looks nothing like his mum now! This pic was taken Christmas 1999, when Mark's mum and dad took the kids to Mark's brother's place on Boxing Day. Mark and I were working that day, so the kids went to visit without us. This is Bobbie and his younger cousin Kyle. Back to the Top. Free DHTML scripts provided by.

Dargo - Kaysea

http://www.kaysea.com/theripples.php

The Ripples, is situated 17klm from Dargo way up in the Victorian High Country, and is one of my favourite places to get away to. Dad bought the ripples about 7 years ago, and he and mum planned to spend their retirement years up there. The whole family fell in love with the area as dad and mum both had. The farm is approximately 22.5 acres (or something! Incidentally, if you're interested, The Ripples are up for sale, the link below will take you to the details. After Dad died, mum wanted to move cl...

Kaysea - En Masse

http://www.kaysea.com/enmasse.php

My family 'en masse'. Enough to give the neighbours nightmares! From left: Front: Dad and Mum. Centre: Debbie, Guy and Bobbie, Paul and Aimee, Melanie. Back row: Andrew, Lyndsay, Me, Mark, Wendy. Same day as above, but Mark's side of the family. Both babies are in Christening gowns, because of the double Christening. Front row: Ivan, Retha, Alan and Bobbie, Karlene and Hayden, Kim. Back row: Me, Bob, Mark. Mark feeding the pigeons in Trafalgar Square in 1993. We think it 'mazing! Back to the Top.
