Luigi Marchionni MD PhD. I am an Assistant Professor of Oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA. I am doctor and a computational biologist, and I specifically work on cancer. I apply quantitative approaches to interpret high-dimensional genomic data, understand cancer cell biology, and develop useful clinical tools to improve cancer patients' outcomes. Center for Computational Genomics. Next Generation Sequencing Center. Analysis of Biological Sequences (SPH 140.638). Is a one-quarter course offered through the School of Public Health. The focus of this course is on understanding the details of common algorithms used in current computational biology.
