Monday, August 31, 2009. Well, the kids have all officially survived the first day of school, and I must say, they all handled it better than me. Especially Aden. Ken and I dropped him off at school today, and we hadn't even stopped the car before he was unbuckled and saying goodbye. He wasn't nervous at all! And he didn't even expect us to walk him to his line.we did anyway though.for mom's sake. I can't believe how fast they all grow up! And this is how Aden relaxed after a hard first day of school.

Thursday, July 30, 2009. Dish Brush, Anyone? Just one of the MANY reasons I love my Kenny. He had the day off work today, and he decided to go to the store and get us a couple of items that we have been in need of. A mop (he broke ours), some dishwasher soap, and a dish scrubber brush (whatever the proper name for it is? I came home and this is what I found for our "dish brush"! I could not stop laughing! All I could say was, "It's huge! His reply- "I thought it would save some time! Oh, how I love him!

The Princess' Fool-Proof Weight Loss Plan. During breakfast, DH was making PB&J sandwiches, and had both creamy and crunchy peanut butter on the table. Trying to decide which peanut butter she wanted, The Princess said, "The crunchy peanut butter has less fat than the creamy. So I think I'm going to eat the crunchy peanut butter from now on, because I'm trying to get into better shape.". Later in the meal, The Princess was reading the peanut butter jar. Sunday, August 28, 2016. Acadian National Park/Vivi's first camping trip. We experienced such beauty on our 4 day trip to Acadia National Park. It is THE most beautiful place on the East Coast; the scenery is quite literally breathtaking. We enjoyed our first camping trip as a family of four in the Blackwood's campground. We had a wonderful time, hiking, swimming, sitting around the campfire and spending time together taking in the sights. We will be back to do this again! Posted by Cagney and Laci.
