Where would you be without Geography? Friday, 26 February 2010. Year 12 RGS Visit. As promised, a few photos from our visit to the RGS. Sadly I haven't got one of Michael Palin - it can be added if someone sends me it. Elliot's 5 minutes of fame. Planning the next trip. Not entirely sure what Scott and Elliot are doing here. A reminder also that your essay ("The extent to which volcanic processes represent hazards depends on where and when they occur. Discuss.") is due in to Mrs Chambers on Monday.

geogtastic!: February 2012

http://geogtastic.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Where would you be without Geography? Wednesday, 1 February 2012. It has been a bit chilly today to say the least, and this map from the Met Office. Shows that there are warnings of severe cold weather in place across much of the country. The cause of the cold weather is the high pressure system that is currently sitting over northern Russia. The Year 8 geographers have been looking at air pressure and how it affects the weather, so they should be able to tell you all about what's happening at the moment.
