Saturday we joined up with Linda and Larry (L3-Geo) to catch up on the new caches around Reno. We decided to do the easy ones first so we could get numbers. We started geocaching in May of 2004 and have been hooked ever since. Below are some of our more recent adventures. Monday, January 7, 2008. When we reached Mercury we drove out in the desert for a cache with a view of the Nevada Test Site. Unfortunately we reached a sign notifying us that the area was closed so we had to pass it by. We did get to see the test site and Yucca Mountain in the distance. Next we stopped at the SHM “Nevada Test Site” and learned all about the area. Sunday, January 6, 2008.
