The majority of our work takes place in two caves: Daniel Boone Caverns in southwestern Virginia, and Carter Saltpeter Cave outside of Johnson City, TN. Both caves are privately owned, although tours of Carter Saltpeter Cave are available through Appalachian Underground. Other caves we visit in the course of our research currently include Worley’s Cave (you can tour Worley’s with River and Earth Adventures.
