Second Star to the Right. Thursday, July 3, 2014. This Body's Not Big Enough for the Two of Us. I can definitely see why women are so ready to give birth by the end of this. It already feels like Bun couldn't possibly get any bigger without my body exploding. Today s/he is all up in my ribcage and while it thrills me to feel him/her moving around and know that s/he's ok, it's anything but comfortable. Second Star to the Right. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. Well today Bun is 35 weeks and at my appointment this morning that's exactly where s/he was measuring so yay! I also mailed off the manuscript for my novel today so here's hoping that the publisher likes it and Bun can one day brag that his or her mommy wrote that book :). Came home and moved the rest of the little things out of the nursery room so my mom can paint and we can start making it a nursery! Oh and I picked a pediatrician today!

So little Bun is almost 2, but I just realized that I never posted anything about the actual birth! September 24, 2014 - One week late and still not even a practice contraction so my doc scheduled me to be induced that night. Was the best and totally worth the wait! You got this mommas! Second Star to the Right. Monday, July 21, 2014. Just kidding, but definitely feeling more ready. The second day of class at the hospital covered newborn care which was wonderful.
