Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Wrapping Things Up - Sportswise. Soccer and cross-country have come to an end. Logan had a great season - learning how to play on a bigger field (about 3 times bigger), have a goalie, actual positions, and real referees (not the coaches on the field). The previous small field could only hold the 4 players per side. He had a great coach who was positive and encouraging. Logan learned a couple of positions,. He looked so small in the goal,. But did great and had a lot of fun.

Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Nothing So Sweet . . . There's nothing so sweet as coming off the bus on that last day of school. Last Wednesday, summer officially started. And as Logan said, while heading to a end-of-school-year birthday party later that day, "it's like tomorrow is Saturday, then Saturday, then Saturday, then Sunday, then 6 Saturdays, then Sunday. But we only do chores on one of the Saturdays.". That about sums it up! During the last week of school, 5th Grade had their recognition assembly.

One - the Protege: our first and only new, off-the-lot vehicle that has gives 16 1/2 years of driving and was finally not worth the money needed to keep it running. Off it went to a salvage company. Thursday, January 30, 2014. With the threat of snow, school got let out early on Tuesday. Atlanta did get hit harder, especially with all the traffic and population there and in the surrounding area, but we missed the "big snow.". Both Robert and I grew up where there was always snow in the winter and sometimes the response to snow seems a bit silly to us, but when people aren't use to the white stuff or have the winter gear to deal with it, you can't be too cautious. Alyssa went out from a chilly run.

Our conversation continued a little longer and then I asked Avery who her Best Friend was; without hesitation she replied: "oh mom that's easy, Ansley.". She has asked me multiple times this week, " when is Ansley going to wake up from her nap? I want her to play with me.". I can't put into words how happy this makes me :).

Now brace yourselves, what you're about to read is seriously the BEST birth story EVER! It was a nice reunion and they could not wait to see Ansley! I told them I couldn't believe they remembered us and they said they don't have many incidents like ours and it would be hard to forget! We are all so in love with him!
